6 hours to takeoff

It's middle of the night and I have to get up in about 3 hours (haha I just realize that) to go to the airport. My flight leaves early...
Looking forwar to write this blog again, and this time it's gonna be even more a photo blog than last time, since I bought this awesome Canon 55oD camera!

The last weeks I have been very busy in the studio, and I am looking forward to work with Ssssssteve in Dallas from tomorrow on! Oh boy, that's like literally at the other side of the world, hehe. Well, I guess I'll need a couple of days anyways to get rif of the jetlag...

Anyhow, check out this pic from last week, a late night mixing session in my very own TRINIX STUDIO!

going back once again...

Hey folks,

so, long time no post. During my last visit I didn't blog, but this time it's time for some documantation again :-)
On my first 3 months road trip (which really was the time of my life) I fell in love with Texas and especially Austin, and I have spend 6 months in total over there since then.

From playing and recording music, jamming with lots of people, a trip to the hill country, driving across the desert to california, loosing money in Las Vegas - again, a perfect time.
You can listen to some of the music I brought back on my website www.micha-schellhaas.com, the AUDECY project I did in Austin/TX, and the SHAWN LOUDERMILK recordings we did in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Before my first trip I never had thought that I will have that much fantastic experiences in the US.

For this time, there's a lot on the program too. Again, travelling - this time probably by bus. I wanted to check out the Greyhound's anyway someday :-)
Recording in Dallas and New Mexico, writing and playing in Austin/TX, chilling in L.A. and going to jam sessions in San Francisco - that's the plan...

The trip has already started in my head, only 4 weeks to takeoff now...

looking forward to go back to the US! and to pst some cool stories and pictures...!
Greetings fom the Geneva airport (and yes, I am flying a lot lately)...
