So, in 48 hours from now I'll be having dinner in New York! :)
I left Amsterdam this morning after a brilliant party last night where we ended up hanging out on Amsterdam's rooftops ;)
A friend of mine had his final exam yesterday on the Conservaory of Amsterdam and I was playing in his band. After that we celebrated the whole night and after just 3 hours of sleep I could get a ride to Wuppertal (Germany) and from there I moved on to Mannheim where I got picked up by my family.
But that was not the only fantastic party of the last days, last week monday my friend Andi Bauer had his final exam in Groningen, and also there I was fortunate to play with. It was a great concert and Andi played just fantastic! And the afterparty was just burning... the mood and the vibe was so good it was almost unbelievable. We had a band jammin' in the cellar of the student house in Groningen where all of us would stand in and play along from time to time during the party... the rest was dancing like hell and the fun was amazing... and then - police showed up. we had to stop the band but we didn't stop the party at all. Slowly everybody was moving to the kitchen and grabbed some spoons and pans until we ended up jamming the whole kitchen alltogether!!! hehe, that was fun!

After that we went straight back to the instruments and played again until 4 in the morning :)
Luckily, the police didn't show up again!
So, that's about it! Thursday early in the morning I will step on the plane and the 3 months journey finally beginns!

Jetzt geht's gleich los. In 48 Stunden werde ich mir in New York ein erstes Amerika dinner leisten! :)
Gestern was das Endexamenkonzert von einem guten Freund von mir in Amsterdam. Ich war in seiner Band und wir hatten ein tolles Konzert und eine superfette Party; am Ende saßen wir auf den Dächern von Amsterdam mit einer super Aussicht und klasse Stimmung fast bis zum Morgengrauen...
Nach 3 Stunden Schlaf konnten mich Lukes Kumpel im Auto mitnehmen nach Wuppertal und von dort aus bin ich nach Mannheim weitergefahren und von meiner Familie abgeholt worden.
Letzte Station vor dem Flug nach NYC Donnerstag Morgen...

Aber die Party gestern war nicht die einzige mega Party in den letzten Tagen. Letzte Woche Montag hatte Andi Bauer sein Endexamen Drums in Groningen, wo ich auch mitgespielt habe. Ein supertolles Konzert, alle waren total begeistert und eine Party wie vom andern Stern...
In der Conservatoriumsvilla im Keller haben wir die ganze Nacht gejammt und getanzt mit unglaublichen Grooves von Balkan bis Funk... bis die Polizei kam ;)

Dann, langsam aber sicher sind alle in die Küche abgezogen und Schwups war eine Riesenjamm im Gange mit Pfannen und Löffeln, Mülleimern, Kühlschrank und alles was nicht Niet und Nagelfest war. Wow. Schaut Ech mal das Video oben auf der Seite an (Leider kann das Handyvideo echt nur einen klitze klitze kleien Teil der unglaublichen Stimmung wiedergeben... Aber ich sag Euch, wir haben fast das Haus abgerissen und so hat's sich auch angefühlt;))
Dannach sind wir direkt wieder zurück an die Instrumente und haben weiter gejammt bis 4 oder so - ohne Polizei, hehe :)
